Introducing Allamande Eric in Cincinnati...

"Square Dancing with a Twist! "

BootsMake your square dance so different that every guest will swear it was the best time they've had in ages. His unique approach to square dance music makes old and young alike come together in rhythmic unity. His song lists includes everything from the classic Cripple Creek to modern electric house music!

The crowd might start off a little timid, but as he teaches the basic square dance moves they forget the fact that they've never square danced...and they're dancing as they learn, so they never get bored. By the end of the night, the square dance turns into an eager crowd who hopes the night never ends. Because they're now running through complicated schemes and dance moves like it's nothing.

During the breaks, Paul Callahan keeps the younger (more energetic) crowd busy with line dances and classic party songs like the Hokie Pokie, The Limbo, and The Chicken Dance.

To see an example of how we work, check out the video below. The people you see dancing here have NEVER square danced before. Within an hour, they were moving though the square, and having more fun than they can ever remember having.

**A quick note about square dances:

A square dance is generally an event in and of itself. The more your event is presented to people as a "square dance" and not a "party where we'll do some square dancing", the more likely attendees are to take part in the dance.

It's been our experience that out of 100 people attending a general party, only about 5 are excited to leave other party attractions in order to take part in the square dance. And since a complete square requires 8 people, it ends up not happening at all.

The best way to avoid this is to either organize the event as a square dance only (with guests understanding that they'll participate in it), or to cut out a specific time slot for the square dance and stop other party activities during that time. It's been our experience that once people are coaxed onto the dance floor, they have more fun than they've had in a long time, and they're glad they took part. But they usually do have to be coaxed, and without proper planning, they never actually make it to the dance floor.
